Ways to Improve Sales through Your Website

Anyone who has been marketing online knows that the lifeblood of a business is the traffic of a site. More visitors equal more sales. However, here are some ways that you can tweak your sites with to improve sales without the need to get more visitors.

The first method is to weave in your personal touch in your sales message. Nobody wants to be sold to by a total stranger, but many people will buy what their close friends recommend to them. If you can convince your audience that you are a personal friend who has their best interest at heart, they will be convinced to buy your products. Remember to speak to an individual in your sales letter, not to your whole audience.

The second method is to publish testimonials and comments from your customers. A good idea would be to publish both good and bad comments; that way prospects will be really convinced that these testimonials are real. When prospects see testimonials on your website, they will have the confidence to buy from you because human beings follow the herd mentality; when others have bought and proven it authentic, they will jump on the bandwagon and buy too.

Use visual representations for the problems and solutions that your product offers. Not everyone will read your text copy from the head to the tail, but most people will pay attention to images on your website.

Offer quality bonuses to accompany the product. When you offer bonuses that complement your product, your prospects will feel it’s a very good deal and it would be stupid to miss it. Be sure to state the monetary value of your bonuses so that people will be even more compelled to grab your good bargain.

Lastly, ask for the sale! Many people entice their prospects with the benefits of their product, sell to them with stories of how it has solved many problems, even offered killer bonuses but forget to ask for the sale. Give a clear instruction on how to buy your product (e.g. “click the button to buy now!”).

A Plan For Effective Internet Marketing

A Plan For Effective Internet Marketing
Internet marketing isn’t always the easiest thing to do.
However there is one key to effective Internet marketing that
far too many people overlook. So, what is it that they don’t do?
They don’t make a plan. To be fair, a lot of Internet marketers
think they have a plan, but saying “I’m going to make some
money” is not a plan.

Perhaps that’s one of the primary reasons why franchises are so
popular. They present a very detailed plan for just about every
aspect of running a business. But we are talking about internet
marketing, not a traditional bricks and mortar business. So,
what you really need for effective internet marketing is a
business plan.

Let’s be blunt, creating a business plan is going to take time
and effort. Without one, however, you will be wandering
aimlessly through your business and bringing in money in a way
that’s too hit or miss. You may do okay without one, but you
won’t see your full profit potential unless you have a business
plan in place. Think of it as the difference between having a
hobby and having a real business that makes you money. If you
want it to be a hobby, then that’s up to you; maybe you don’t
really need a plan.

Your plan is a sort of road map to help you define and reach
your goals. A good way to start your business plan is to think
of where you want to end up, then start working backwards from
there. What steps will you have to take? How much will you make?
How will you make it? How much will you invest? What marketing
methods will you use to promote your online business? Answering
questions like these will help you make a good plan.

The questions you ask are important. Try to think of as many
aspects of your business as you can. And when answering, be as
detailed and specific as you can. In fact, if you find you are
giving vague answers, take that as a sign that you need to give
your business plan for effective internet marketing more thought.

Once you have asked and answered the necessary questions, it’s
time to start organizing your plan. Try to arrange things in a
logical way so they make more sense. Be as linear as possible.
You should also divide your plan into short, medium and long
term goals. This will help you to stay on track as your business
grows.

You should be ready to make revisions to your plan as needed,
but don’t make those changes lightly. However, your business is
going to grow, and you won’t be able to predict how things turn
out with 100% accuracy. So you need to be able alter your plan
if the situation warrants it. Remember, your business plan isn’t
written in stone and is there to work for you, not against you.

As you can see, one of the keys to effective internet marketing
is to have a business plan. IT could be argued that if you don’t
have such a plan, then you don’t really have a business. If you
are just doing this for a hobby, that’s fine, but if you want to
make money like a real business, then you need to treat it like
one.

The Art Of Aging Gracefully

For many years people have been searching for the secret to staying youthful.  There are millions of dollars each year being paid by consumers that are looking for the magical remedy that will slow down the aging process.  Many actually take drastic moves and resort to surgery to get back their youthful looks.  There are other solutions that aren’t as invasive or as expensive as surgery.  If you care for, and pay attention to, your body and its needs then you can age gracefully and naturally.

To care for your skin you need to protect it from harmful UV rays so it is vital to wear sun block when you are out in the sun.  There are formulated sun blocks available that allow you to apply makeup over it.

Use a good moisturizer daily to keep your skin hydrated.  A good quality moisturizer will also help to replenish the skin cells, create soft skin and reduce wrinkles.  There are many moisturizers that are way overpriced but there are some great products on the market that are very effective without the huge price tag.

Exercising regularly improves your general health and this includes the health of your skin.  Yoga and Pilates exercises are great to increase flexibility and joint pliability and they are also great for keeping your body in shape.

Stress relieving exercises such as yoga or meditation will help reduce the stress in your life and keep you more relaxed.  This will decrease your risk of heart disease and other medical conditions.

Walking is a good exercise to add to your regime and if you can spare the time try to walk for 30 minutes four times a week.  Make sure that you wear good walking shoes to give your feet and body the right support.

A healthy diet, low in calories and fat and filled with antioxidants and nutrients will play a big role in keeping your skin youthful and healthy.  Foods that contain acai are great, as are dark green leafy vegetables; this will build your immunity and assist with helping you to age gracefully.

Reduce the amount of sugar and fats that you have in your diet and drink lots of water.  If your body is dehydrated then so is your skin and dehydrated skin can make you look much older.  Eight glasses of water a day is the recommended intake so try to have at least this amount.  Drinks such as coffee with cream and sugar, tea with sugar and sodas should be avoided or at least reduced.

If you are not receiving all the required nutrients from your diet then make sure you take a multi-vitamin supplement.  Your body needs the right amount of vitamins and minerals to stay healthy and maintain healthy and youthful skin.

Visit your doctor for regular checkups to have your cholesterol, blood sugars and blood pressure checked.  By keeping an eye on these things you can help to prevent any possible medical conditions occurring.  If you do experience any health issues discuss them with your doctor so you can have them treated.

Basically, a healthy diet, exercise and just treating your body well and looking after it will help you to feel and look young longer.  Look after your body and you will age gracefully.

Psychological Self-improvement: Ways to overcome fear

People are usually afraid of negative things. They are afraid of self-improvement because of this fear. Psychological self-improvement may help you in this situation.

In psychological self-improvement, The best way to remove this fear is to understand that life is always in the cycle of ups and downs. No one is permanently up or permanently down. Remember that no one can avoid these ups and downs even the most envied Hollywood stars.

What we should do about these downs is to learn from it and not to avoid it. We should learn how to handle our problems for our psychological self-improvement.

Problems affect us every day. These problems bring us misery due to the fact that we have feelings. We should never loose hope in figuring out solutions to these problems. All we need is to learn how to overcome it and not to be overcome.

Problems can never be overcome but we can learn from them. This is where Psychology plays an important role.

Psychologists say that we should always be careful in our decisions concerning our problems. We should handle our problems properly and learn how to deal with it. Learning from mistakes helps us in preparing ourselves for psychological self-improvement

There are a lot of myths about every event in our lives is due to pre-determined reason. Another belief says that what we encounter in our lives today is our preparation for other things that may come in our lives. To understand what may happen to us in the future, we must learn from the present.

With all that, it is also true that the unexpected can happen anytime. However, you should keep in mind that a psychological self-improvement is not always for the worse and consequently, you must never let go of a chance, because you are afraid to take the risk.

Remember that, from time to time, something has to happen in order to free you from monotony, so you shouldn’t be surprised if, at a certain moment in time, instead of being afraid of change, you desire it with all your heart.

If there are some things that hinder you from going on, here are some tips to help you move forward:
Just think of the positive impacts results from the psychological self-improvement. Know important they are and reflect on how to increase them, by adding some other good aspects, which need certain assistance.

Try to picture somebody else in your situation, as picturing ourselves in a less desirable position, always looks more dramatic than it really is. If you realize that the other person can handle the change, you can be sure you’ll be able to handle it as well. This is a good psychological self-improvement.

Think of the worst situation that can result after the self-improvement. Try to find various solutions to it. Reflect on how much you can loose, if the worst happened, and how important those things are to you. If you find more than one reasonable solution, you are safe and the self-improvement can’t be stronger than you are!

Self-improvement is not bad at all. All we need is to learn how to handle some negative changes. We should also reflect from it to learn and use it in the future events that we may encounter. This could be your ultimate psychological self-improvement.

Adsense Alternatives

Many people have started using Google’s AdSense program, but there are some who find it a bit too uncertain or simply not suiting their own requirements from an ad program.

But thankfully for such people, there are many alternatives to AdSense which attempt to alleviate some of its shortcomings. Here is a list of the most noteworthy ones from the lot with a description concerning each one.

AllFeeds (http://www.allfeeds.com/?action=publishers)
AllFeeds has a great pool of online advertisers to choose from. It also features many display formats that you can choose from. These include banners, buttons, XML feeds, DHTML pop-ups and so on. It also features real time reporting of your ad status. The site will mail a check every month, provided that you earn more then $25.00, while rolling over earnings for the next month if you don’t. Another interesting thing about AllFeeds is that it integrates with Google AdSense, maximizing your earnings with AdSense.

MarketBanker (http://www.marketbanker.com/mb/sell.php)
MarketBanker allows you the unique possibility to set the pricing for your site. It also allows you to allow or reject any link that appears on your site (although AdSense itself does a very good job of this as well, with URL filters) There’s also a statistics section which will allow you to see how well your site is doing. The ads are small just like AdSense’s and they’re just as easy to set up. Also, registration for Market Banker is free.

BidClix ( http://www.bidclix.com/PubTop.html)
BidClix is different because it has advertisers compete for clicks on your site, which in turn is meant to generate the highest possible profits for your page. It also has a very large pool of advertisers which ensure there are plenty of people to choose your site. However, it does require more polish on site contents then AdSense. As most sites, real time statistics are available and its very easy to get started with this service, but it’s also very flexible.

Chitika (http://www.realcontext.com/index.php?option=RealContext:+Contextual+Targeting+Engine)
RealContext uses Artificial intelligence to retrieve the most relevant ads for your page. And there’s an extra feature which makes RealContext unique as well. Keywords are selected based upon which previous selections payed off and which didn’t. That means there’s a constant feedback process that ensures you gain better revenue from your ads. It also supports blocking certain adds and child-safe filtering and many more options.

AdHearus (http://adhearus.com/webmaster.php)
AdHearus is a very feature-packed contextual ad provider. As with AdSense, advertisements are targeted but it doesn’t stop here at all. The ads are very flexible, you can select from text-ads, banners, rectangles, pop-ups, pop-unders or skyscrapers. You can also display your own ads, through rotation, both on your site and on other affiliate sites, which makes AdHearus a hybrid with conventional advertising technologies. There’s a very comprehensive on-line real time reporting feature and, as usual with such services, starting out is free and it’s a breeze.

AffiliateSensor (http://www.affiliatesensor.com/)
AffiliateSensor has highly customizable ad blocks, which you can make for yourself with an easy to use on-line interface. You also get realtime reporting with clicks-by-domain, page and referrer. There’s integration with Google AdSense as well, through the google_alternate_ad_url so AffiliateSensor can be used as a substitute for Google PSA’s (Public Service Ads).

Kanoodle Bright Ads (http://www.kanoodle.com/about/brightads.cool)
Kanoodle’s offering allows publishers to get ads related to topics or segments, and not the traditional keyword oriented ads. The site also groups publisher sites with advertisers by hand to ensure high-revenue generating ads. And speaking of revenue, the amount of money you receive is a clear 50% share of the amount of money Kanoodle recieves for an advertiser.

TargetPoint (http://publisher.targetpoint.com)
TargetPoint is oriented more towards content publishers. It offers full control over the look the ads, statistics over your site’s overall performance and better revenue. It’s free to register and you earn a guaranteed 60% of the total revenue. You can get payed with Paypal of Bank checks and (most times) wire transfers as well.

Clicksor (http://www.clicksor.com)
Clicksor will earn you as much as 60% from the amount of money your website produces. What you get is about the same as AdSense, there are targeted text ads, you can view the revenues from your website in real time. You can receive money via PayPal or through a check every two weeks, provided that you have earned more then $50. If you haven’t made that much, your earning roll over to the next period

AdWords Keyword Research – Get It Right Or Go Broke

AdWords Keyword Research – Get It Right Or Go Broke

AdWords is the Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising option from
Google. All the major search engines have their own version of
PPC advertising. The basic concept is this: you place an ad that
targets a specific keyword related to the product, service, or
website you are trying to get traffic to. When someone types in
that keyword into the search engine they will see ads at the
top, bottom and sides of the results page (if you’ve done it
properly one of those ads will be yours).

They will click on an ad and be taken to the website of whoever
placed that ad. The advertiser will then be charged, hence the
term pay per click. In order to make this work you need to
choose the keywords you’re going to use carefully, and that’s
where the adwords keyword research tool can come in handy.

Even if you’re not running a PPC campaign, you’ll still need a
list of good keyword to use in all of your online marketing.
Keywords are used in virtually every form of online advertising
there is. They are needed for Search Engine Optimization (SEO),
article marketing and PPC. So having access to a cutting edge
keyword research is vital.

And who better to trust your searches to than the online giant,
Google? The keyword tool is free to use. It’s also easy to use.
Just type in the base keyword you want more information on.

For example, let’s say you are promoting dog grooming equipment.
You would go to the keyword tool, type in ‘dog grooming
equipment’ and let the results load. There are several fields
you can either enable or disable. You can get information on the
number of monthly searches, the estimated cost per click (CPC),
the amount of competition to name just a few.

You will also see a list of hundreds of other keywords
combination’s all derived from your base keyword search. I
personally find that to be one of the biggest benefits of this
tool Sometimes I just can’t think of all the word combinations
that people might be searching for, so having this tool show me
other possible keywords is extremely helpful.

Another neat thing you can do is to type in the URL of a website
that sells the same types of products you do. You will see the
results and you can get ideas of what keywords they are using,
this is really helpful if a certain website is ranking well. It
can give you a glimpse into what they’re doing with their SEO.

Make sure to focus more on 3, 4, and 5 words keyword phrases
(long tail keywords) since they will get less competition. I
know many people like to go out and target the one and two words
keywords that get hundreds of thousands of monthly searches, but
that is a waste of time. Unless you’re incredibly lucky you
won’t be able to compete or get ranked for those keywords.
You’re better off finding slightly less searched for terms that
you may actually be able to get a ranking for.

Hey, take advantage of all the internet has to offer, that
includes the many free tools that you can use to grow your
business such as the Google Adwords keyword research tool.

Affiliate Marketing: Why is it One of the Most Cost-Effective Ways to Advertise your Business

Ever heard of affiliate programs? These are forms of Internet advertising that rewards the affiliates for driving traffic to the advertiser or for other transactions. The advertiser pays the affiliate to place a link on their website, and the affiliate sends traffic to the advertiser in return. Simply put, it’s about paying commissions to people who help you make sales. It’s that easy. NOT.

Affiliate marketing has its ups and downs. It could be draining if you are not armed with updated information and the technical how-tos. But this article’s sole objective is to reach out to you and not to badmouth affiliate marketing.

Here are the following reasons on why web marketers go gaga over affiliate marketing as a form of Internet advertisement.

1. Low cost

Many are scared to go on a home based business because of the capital required. In affiliate marketing, you don’t have to spend much to start raking in mullah.

2. Inventories not included

Product management fuss could be very stressing. An inventory is not asked to be maintained. The merchant does the maintenance required.

3. Unlimited income through leverage

When you have a paid job, your monthly income mainly relies on whether you go to work or not. With affiliate marketing, your affiliates could all just lead traffic to your site without having to lift a finger after providing them your ad copy and links. Though not every web marketer earns limitless, it still is a fact that all the necessary matters for the advertiser or Internet marketer are all there to be successful.

4. Go worldwide

With affiliate marketing, you are dealing with a global market place. All you have to do is choose a niche product and prepare all the necessary tools for your affiliates to lead traffic from just about anywhere to your website.

5. Low risk

How Do I Gain Financial Freedom – Read On

It seems that the tougher times get in the economy, the more
people start to reevaluate their situation financially and ask
the question “how do I gain financial freedom?” For most people
the answer really isn’t all that difficult to find, it just
takes some honesty and discipline.

Many times we find ourselves slowly (and sometimes not so
slowly) sinking into bad habits that then seem like necessities.
For example, many people consider their $4 cup of coffee every
day to be something that they cannot live without.

But the truth is that you can actually save some money by simply
brewing your own coffee at home and taking it to work with you.

Here are some other ideas to answer your question “how do I gain
financial freedom?”:

1. I’ve kind of covered this already, but to elaborate, make
sure that you consider how to balance your budget. Most of us
simply do not live within our means. It’s very easy to fall into
the trap of wanting more than you can really afford and reaching
for your credit card.

That is the path to too much debt. Before you can get control of
your finances, you need to take stock of this debt and figure
out how to make sure you get out of debt. So, how do you get
your debt under control? Well, you need to find a way to free up
some cash in your monthly budget and unless you can make more
money (which most of us can’t) than you need to spend less.

Most of us can find some wiggle room in our budget so all we
need to do is be honest and make some cuts. It won’t necessarily
be easy, but it can be done.

2. When you get your debt paid off, the next step is to apply
some of that money you freed up to other investments or savings.
Depending on how much money you were able to break free from
your monthly budget, you may just want to start a savings
account.

As you get more money you can then learn how to do some
investing and invest that money in some way. Do not make the
mistake of thinking that you can just hire some investment
adviser and turn all your money over to them. While no one
expects you to become a professional investor, you can and
should learn some basics.

Any relationship you have with an investment adviser should be a
partnership. Take their ideas and advice but ultimately the
decision to follow that advice has to be yours. The only way you
can do that is if you know a little about investing yourself.

Taking control of your life very often starts with taking
control of your finances. If you are asking “how do I gain
financial freedom?” than you just have to be aware that it will
take some time and commitment on your part. It will require you
to make some small sacrifices but when you do, you will gain so
much more.

Identity Theft Information Keeps You Safe

Identity Theft Information Keeps You Safe

Identity theft information is easily found online. The trouble
isn’t finding the information; it’s sorting through it to know
what good advice is and what isn’t. This article will provide
you with some basics on how to protect your identity and your
financial future.

Identity theft is the fastest growing crime today. Millions of
people are affected every year and billions of dollars are lost
to fraudulent activity. It’s more important than ever for all of
us to be diligent. If your identity is stolen it doesn’t just
affect you, it affects all of us since the companies pass on
those lost dollars to all of us in the form of higher fees.

Take this identity theft information and use it to protect
yourself as well as help keep costs down for all of us:

1. Don’t give out your personal information. It’s easy to get
caught off guard when some quick talking person calls you on the
phone and says there is a problem with your account, could you
please verify your information?

But stop and think, if the bank, Credit Card Company or utility
company is calling you, than why would they need your
information? They are calling you; don’t they already have your
information? Yes, they do. It’s most likely a scam, hang up and
call the company yourself.

2. Shred your documents. It only takes a minute and you may be
surprised to learn how much damage can be done with some simple
information. Better to be safe than sorry.

3. Don’t carry your social security card with you. Also don’t
put your driver’s license number on your checks. With your birth
date and your driver’s license number a thief can do a lot of
damage. Don’t make it easy for them; keep your information to
yourself.

4. You get to check each of the three credit bureaus every year,
for free. Do it. Take full advantage and if you see something
that looks wrong, contact the credit bureau right away.

5. it’s a hassle, I know, but look over your credit card and
bank statements thoroughly every month. Finding a mistake can be
a sign that someone is using your identity.

6. Keep your computer protected. Keep your entire antivirus and
anti spyware up to date and run scans frequently. Keep firewalls
active all the time.

7. Don’t ever make the mistake of thinking that you can click on
a link in an email and that you will be at the site of your
bank, or Credit Card Company and start filling in personal
information. There are ways of masking the website address and
making it appear you are on a different site.

So you may be thinking that you are on the site for your bank
when in actuality you are on the site of scammers and they are
gathering all your personal information. Don’t click links,
instead type the address in yourself.

Use this identity theft information as a starting point. You can
always ask your bank and credit card company for more help,
after all, if you can protect your identity you can help them
from losing a lot of money.
